 Note: With one notable exception the differences between the Condensed Encyclopedia pg 739-740 and the 15 volume are minor; specifically the points allocated to scoring elements may differ and the Condensed Encyclopedia has the size of its papers truncated to fit into less space. Here I have used the point allocation per the Condensed Encyclopedia but the layout from the 15 volume set. The one notable exception is that in the Condensed Encyclopedia the Judge Papers for patterns have exchanged the word "Smoothness" for "Exactness" despite all other information in this section in both versions of the text only using the term "Smoothness" and having no reference to "Exactness" at all. In order to maintain consistency here I have retained the use of "Smoothness" but the reader should be aware that this may be subject to dispute depending on which reference is being used by the tournament runner.
