+The purpose of this site is to take the encyclopedia content of the ITF Legacy CD and update it per the 1999 Condensed Encyclopedia content, specifically the version that was printed in Canada. To the best of my knowledge this was the last version Gen. Choi Hong Hi personally worked on.
 The end result should be a fully searchable encyclopedia set with hyperlinks between relevant content sections available for reference by students of ITF Taekwon-Do worldwide via the magic of the internet.

 Please note, this is going to be both a long term project and a labour of love in a way. I just want to share the martial art I love with my students and help others around the world out. There are many requests for information on the internet asking how to obtain copies of either the 15 volume encyclopedia or various versions of the Condensed Encyclopedia but very few of them have recent answers as of 2024. If this project ever comes to completion, this is my answer to anyone who follows the Taekwon-Do teachings of the arts founder, General Choi Hong Hi.
+I should also mention that while I am doing my best to ensure that all content from the 15 volume encyclopedia set is present and updated in some places the format of the layout has been adjusted due to the limitations of the wiki format.
